abstract

  • The series of comments on our review on the map between genotypes, phenotypes, and eventually organisms are gratifying in that they are exactly the discussion we hoped our review would engender. As a snapshot of the state of the field at a moment in time, it is missing the new contributions that have already come after it -only partly amended through this reply-, but we hope it may provide a citation portal to find such developments forward in time.
