abstract

  • Teaching Semantic Web-related technologies raises the issue of where it could fit in the Computer Science syllabus. Showing, depicting and explaining the breakthrough of adding semantics to the current Web remains a fundamental challenge in Computer Science education. In this paper, we discuss our approach to help students understand the full potential of the Semantic Web approach by means of an optional course where they follow a 'hands-on' approach.
