abstract

  • Many works devoted to tumor cells analysis after short duration voltage pulses application have been published recently. New advances in power systems allow applying short rise time voltage pulses for short periods of times. These advances, in addition to developed high voltage technologies have led to the application of steep fronted pulses to tumor cells and tissues with surprising results. This paper tries to review the results obtained to the date regarding to volume reduction in tumor masses or cancer cell destruction; in addition to this, main impulse generation circuits are presented and explained.
