abstract
The objective of this article is to analyse the bibliographic production related to audiovisual fiction in any discipline in which the territory of Spain is mentioned explicitly, either as a whole or in part. This paper gathers information on 964 contributions, published between 1925 and 2024 and registered in the bibliographic repertoire Dialnet. This information has been compiled into Excel and Zotero files, adding new fields including format of the audiovisual fiction, topics addressed in the contribution, academic discipline of all the authors, the research centre to which they belong and their gender. Furthermore, information has been included at various scales—autonomous, provincial and municipal—regarding the territories addressed by each of these publications. This bibliographic repertoire is accessible to future researchers. The analysis of this database offers results in several dimensions: temporal frequency; spatial distribution; authors (gender, academic disciplines, research centers to which they belong); and the topics addressed. The paper concludes by highlighting the short and medium-term trends that are evident in this collection of almost a thousand publications.
