L'exilé oublié. La retraite espagnole en Afrique du Nord et la reconstruction de ses structures politiques

The complexity of Spanish exile marked its dynamics during the almost forty years of dictatorship in Spain. Although there are areas that have been studied on the activities of this exile, North Africa is largely unknown, being as it was a place of arrival of Spaniards at different historical moments. Algeria and Morocco were places where the politically persecuted in Spain arrived throughout contemporary history. This work aims to bring us closer to this reality, taking us through the different periods of exile, with special emphasis on the exile of 1939 and focusing on the reconstruction of Spanish anarchism in the main French colony in North Africa.
