  • The following is a reading of Filosofia della vulnerabilità based on the relationship between vulnerability and human rights. Gianfrancesco Zanetti's reflection allows us to understand how vulnerability is a common condition to all human beings, but also how in some cases vulnerabilityis not universal, but specific, and resulting, at least in part, from social constructions that modulate even the way in which people are perceived. This perspective links vulnerability and structural discrimination very closely, but it is not incompatible with insisting that a rights-based approachmust also take into account the individual dimension of vulnerability.
