abstract
- This paper shows an exact method to compute the positive-sequence reactance of power transformers by using the results of magnetic energy from the numerical simulation of 3D magnetostatic fields. The method consists in averaging the results of three 3-phase simulations without zero-sequence current (and the corresponding deduction is shown). The proposed method is applied to three examples, and the results are compared with the measured values.
